A board game for the whole family!
This game is based on an ancient French game: le jeu de l'oie. One will find many answers to whether its origins lie in France' 17th century, or earlier in Italy, or even some stories go back to the Greeks and the siege of Troy! Nevertheless, this game has been played for generations in my homeland of France. As a kid, I have endlessly tossed the dices, trying to reach the elusive space 63. I have been thinking about making my own version of it for a long time. Quarantine times allowed me to wood-burn the original board, which is the base for the laser engraved copies I am now producing.
Each game is produced on order, laser engraved on Baltic birch. The board and the goose pawns are hand painted, and all elements assembled and finished by hand, which makes every game unique. All elements are wood + cards. No plastic.
Each game includes:
1 Box (rules printed under the lid)
1 game board, split in two, hand painted
6 Goose pawns, hand painted
2 dice
1 set of 49 quiz cards
Each game in made on order. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for production.
